 The name Bergslagen dates back to the Middle Ages and describes the area's close association with and history of mining. Bergslagen is also a geographical area without specific borders in Central Sweden.

We have chosen to focus on our area in Bergslagen, namely Nora, Lindesberg, Ljusnarsberg and Hällefors Municipalities - this is where the collective history of Bergslagen is found. The area's iron production has played a key role in the development of Sweden and can not be overlooked. There are many fun destinations that show off this unique historical area.
