A good pair of shoes will carry you far in Bergslagen! The 17 stages of the Bergslag Trail (Bergslagsleden) begin in Kloten. A few other enjoyable outdoor activities in the area include trekking around the Lindessjön and Ljusnaren lakes, hiking the Silverleden trail, and wandering around Skärmarbodabergen.

 Rent a canoe and enjoy a relaxing paddling trip on the Nittälven, Svartälven, Järleån or Arbogaån rivers, offering great canoeing with rest areas and camping possibilities. If you're into fishing, the possibilities are endless. In Bergslagen, there are more than 1,000 lakes to lure you.
