The environment around Bergslagen inspires art of all kinds. Magnificent scenic design at Opera på Skäret and the summer stage in Stadra, and world famous design at Formens Hus: House of Design are just a few examples.

Great minds have played important roles in the cultural life of Bergslagen. Carl Milles and Ralph Erskin have contributed with celebrated design and architecture.
